PHF strives to exhibit forward thinking ideologies surrounding food and diet by normalizing the space between the Standard American Diet and Veganism through recipes, lifestyle posts and educating people about benefits of a Whole Foods Plant Based Diet while reducing stigma between the two camps.
It is my desire to create a safe space without ridge rules or judgement to share my health journey and inspire others to do the same. Stigma on either side of the isle can cause hesitation and complacency on individuals who are curious about becoming more plant focused.
After the worldwide pandemic, I found myself overweight and struggling to make good, healthy decisions surrounding my diet. Once I found WFPB eating, weight began to fall off. I finally found a solution that wasn't a scam.
Once I started following a caloric denisity model, a 50/50 plate and a WFPB diet, I saw weight come off at the rate of 10 lbs a month for the first 3.5 months.
